I am grateful to my parents, sisters, brothers, and family, for raising me with loving support. They gave me the education, values, vision that helped me to become a physician.

I have no words to express my thanks to my wife, Sudha, daughter, Pakhi, and son, Raja – for their enormous love, support, and inspiration. I continue to learn from them the ethics of hard work, courage, unconditional love, and how to dream the impossible and then make it a reality. Without you all, I could not have made it.

I thank the Chinese sages who developed and nurtured Acupuncture, thereby giving physicians, a very effective therapeutic modality. I thank Joseph Helms, MD, my teacher of Acupuncture, for making such a complex and foreign subject, so well understandable, and providing me with one of the best educational experiences of my life.
